The Warranty Manager works directly with homeowners and is responsible for visiting customer homes to review and assess various service-related issues.
You will determine whether service requests are covered under warranty or if the homeowner will be responsible. The Warranty Manager will assign the work to the vendor(s responsible for performing the repair(s) and will also direct the vendor on how the work will be completed.
Reviews all information available to assess entire warranty claim. Works with project team to ensure
responsible party is held accountable.
Utilizes facts and resources to approve processing of warranty claims within delegation of authority.
Escalates high dollar and exceptional claims through the appropriate process.
Tracks and reports costs to financial and project teams and Accounting Manager monthly.
Ensures timely communication of all costs with the project team.
Requirements
Previous experience in team management
Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications
Excellent command of Excel
Degree or Diploma (in business or related discipline preferred)
