The Role

The Director of Finance will oversee the financial operations of a custom home construction company. This executive role involves strategic financial planning, analysis, and management of financial risks. The Director will ensure the company’s financial health and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy and budgeting processes.
• Oversee cash flow management, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
• Lead the financial reporting, including income statements, balance sheets, and tax returns.
• Conduct profitability analysis on individual projects and overall business lines.
• Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and legal requirements.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO/President and members of the executive management team.
• Manage the finance department, setting goals and objectives, and overseeing their execution.
• Implement systems and processes for efficient financial operations.
