The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Follows the project construction process to ensure that it is completed in time;
  • Liaises with government inspectors on the standard requirements of the site in terms of licenses and safety;
  • Supervises the subcontractors and ensures that they are punctual and that they deliver;
  • Weekly site safety meetings;
  • Being on site to oversee all the construction process, anywhere in the United States;
  • Recording the total costs for materials bought and payments for work done;
  • Ensuring that both the health and safety project plans are implemented;
  • Writing daily project progress reports;
  • Ensure that quality is preserved in the construction process and that the budget is maintained;
  • Proactively identify design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project specific issues;
  • Coordinate with suppliers and issue purchase orders;
  • Ensure the jobsite meets OSHA Safety standards;
  • Scheduling;
  • Manage sub-contractors;
  • Participate with the project team in pre-project planning sessions, estimating, sub-contractor selection, and scheduling.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Ability to schedule and multitask;
  • Good with basic technology, emails, applications, iPhone and iPad;
  • Reliable transportation;
  • Knowledgeable in building and construction;
  • Be a good problem solver;
  • Ability to supervise;
  • Pro-Core education a plus;
  • Construction Scheduling Software;
  • Computer skills: proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, direct others, and effectively address conflict;
  • Delegate work appropriately;
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills;
  • Familiarity with requirements of drawings and specifications and with terms and conditions of Project Contracts, subcontracts and change orders, etc.
