The Role

The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services needed for residential construction projects. This role involves working closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors for construction materials and services.
• Request and review quotes, negotiate prices, and terms to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
• Place orders for materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery to meet project schedules.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor supplier performance, address issues, and resolve disputes as needed.
• Conduct regular reviews of supplier performance and quality to ensure compliance with company standards.
