Requirements

- AutoCAD: Proficiency in AutoCAD, a computer-aided design (CAD) software, is crucial. Electrical estimators use it to create precise 2D and 3D drawings for electrical systems and schematics.
- Revit (BIM): Revit, a Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, allows 3D modeling of electrical systems. It integrates real-world components, enabling accurate material and labor cost estimation.
- Estimating Software: Familiarity with specialized estimating software like EstiMate, ConEst, Accubid, and Trimble is essential for accurate cost forecasting.
- Excel: Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, cost breakdowns, and organizing estimates.
- Bluebeam: Knowledge of Bluebeam for efficient document management and collaboration.
- Navisworks: Understanding Navisworks for project coordination and clash detection.
- ProjectMate: Familiarity with project management tools.
- SimPRO: Expertise in SimPRO for project tracking and resource management.
