The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team as we embark on various commercial and retail construction projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of project execution, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, encompassing scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for commercial, retail, and healthcare construction projects.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining open communication, addressing concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to stay within financial constraints.
  • Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control processes to deliver projects that meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and healthcare industry standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively develop and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Timeline Management: Monitor project timelines, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
  • Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions.
  • Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in general contracting with a focus on commercial, retail construction, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, retail buildouts, and high-end, turn-key facility requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
